Jammu, April 5: Former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah said that the PDP-BJP government that came into being yesterday will not be able to stand the tests of governance and it is very likey that the alliance should break in no time.
“Who asked them (PDP-BJP) to make the people of J&K wait for three months? PDP had promised that they shall come back into governance only once they got something substantial from the centre but they got nothing. They have raised the expectations of the people.”
Citing the reasons behind the imminent dissolution of the government, Omar added
“Fights have begun on day two of the government. I have heard that Sajjad Lone is contemplating resignation. There are also indications of a section of PDP not happy with the party. Under such situations, running the government is not only diffuclt, but also seems impossible.”
The working president of National Conference also said that the alliance shall break soon and so will the government. The people of the state should mentally be prepared for re-elections.
Castigating the government on implementations of NFSA in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar said, “The BJP-PDP govt has cheated the people of Jammu and Kashmir with the imlementation of the NFSA. People have been moving around for ration for months but they have not been able to get any. NC will rake up the issue in the assembly.
