Three drug peddlers held, 40 kilograms Poppy Straw recovered in Budgam

Srinagar August 14: Police Budgam arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 40 kilograms of Poppy Straw from their possession.
During Naka checking a police party led by DO Police Post Soibugh Sub Inspector Mohammed Saleem intercepted a Tata Mobile 207 bearing registration number JK04A-2805. On its checking police recovered 40 kilograms of Poppy Straw.

The peddlers who were transporting Poppy Straw have been taken into custody and were identified as Sonaullah Sheikh, Ismail Bhat, Kambay (Driver) all resident of Warsangam Soibugh, Budgam.

Soibugh Police has registered a case in this regard and further investigation is on.
