Three Shopian youth slapped with PSA, shifted to Jammu Jail

Jammu and Kashmir police arrested three youths and later detained them under Public Safety Act (PSA) allegedly for their involvement in stone pelting in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, official sources said.

Reports Said,  police and security forces conducted nocturnal raids for the past few days and arrested three youths in Shopian.

The youths, identified as Jeelani Gotta, Ubaid Ahmad and Faisal Khanday, were later booked under PSA and shifted to Jammu jail.

Official sources said that the trio has been arrested on charges of stone pelting and organizing protests in the district.
