Three Teacher’s including one ReT suspended by Jammu & Kashmir Government


Director School Education have suspended three teachers, including one ReT of government high school Dardpora Kupwara for poor performance of students in class 10 exams, the result of which was declared in last week by J&K Board of School Education (BOSE).

In Dardpora school, only one out of 44 students who appeared in the class 10th exams had qualified it following which the local residents and parents of the students had accused the teaching staff of the school of not imparting quality education to the students there.

Director school education Kashmir, GN Itoo, confirmed and said two general line teachers and one Rehbar-e-taleem (ReT) teachers have been placed under suspension for having poor percentage results in their subjects.

“Ittoo further said, We have decided to stop increment of other two masters of the schools who have got below 50 percent results in their subjects.”


Director School Education Kashmir, Dr G.N. Yatoo told that keeping in view the dismal results of the students in class 10 examination from Dardpora Government High, the government has decided to hold special remedial tuition classes for the students within a period of one week.

“The high level team including myself will visit the Dardpora area at Kupwara and will seek details from the students and locals about the facilities that they need so that they could get quality education.

Further, free of cost coaching will begin for those students who couldn’t clear class 10 exams,” Dr Yatoo told
