Srinagar, May 5: For anyone in Jammu and Kashmir, who remembers the Udhampur attack, in which two BSF personnel were killed and a dozen injured, Abu Dujana, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist, also responsible for a number of attacks across Jammu and Kashmir, is a known name.
In a video that has gone viral on social media platforms, Abu Dujana has been spotted in a funeral video from Pulwama admonishing the locals on the way of handling of a dead militant.
Abu Dujana is the operational India chief of LeT, and was present a killed terrorist’s funeral accompanied by a team of 5-6 men.
This video shows Dujana admonishing the locals to not rush to see the face of the slain militant.
Dujana is in his mid-twenties and is wanted by the security forces for his role in the Udhampur attack. His head carries a cash reward of Rs 8 lakh.
Abu Dujana is thought to be a resident of Gilgit-Baltistan and has been active for the last four years.
Dujana’s name had popped up during the questioning of captured Pakistani militant Naveed Ahmad.
He mostly operates in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
