Jammu, Sep 24: The Jammu-Srinagar highway was on Thursday opened for traffic after being shut for two days due to landslides, an official said.
“The Jammu-Srinagar highway has been restored for traffic today (Thursday). It remained closed for two days due to landslides triggered by incessant rains,” an official said here.
The over 300-Kilometre long road is the lifeline of supplies for the landlocked Kashmir Valley.
