Train services resumed this morning after remaining suspended for two days for security reasons in the Kashmir valley.
The train services were suspended on June 16 when an encounter ensued between militants holed up in a house and security forces at Arwaini in south Kashmir.
The train services remained suspended yesterday also in view of the strike called by separatists against the death of three civilians in security force action on outskirts of Srinagar and Arwaini south Kashmir.
Today, all trains are running as per schedule between Sriangar-Badgam central Kashmir to Baramulla in North Kashmir, railway official told UNI.
He said similarly rail service was also resumed on Badgam-Sriangar-Anantnag- Qazigund in South Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region.
