Train services suspended in Kashmir

Train services were suspended in Kashmir on Saturday following a strike call issued by the separatist leaders against “attempts” to abrogate Article 35-A of the constitution which grants special rights to residents of Jammu and Kashmir.

An official said that train services were suspended on Baramulla-Banihal track “as a precautionary measure”.

Joint  Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik have called for Kashmir Bandh today to protest against alleged efforts to abrogate Article 35-A.
