Two groups clash in Nagrota; 10 critically injured

Jammu: Dispute over property in Sheba village of Nagrota in Jammu, left ten people of two sects critically injured, including children and women.
The members of the two groups pelted stones and hit each other with cane. The police reached the scene and tried to settle things down but many of them, already profusely bleeding were immediately rushed to the Govt Medical College Jammmu.
Gafoor, Sain, Neema Bibi, Shamim Akhtar and Naseeb Ali of one faction and Showkat Ali, Sheeba Bibi, Noor Ali, Jamat Ali, Sadika Bibi and Mohammed Sadeek of the other were injured in the scuffle.
After talking to other members of both the groups, the Police ascertained that the group members were trying to establish their claim on a government land. In their contention, members of one faction on Friday, went ahead and started irrigating on the land. The news of this development infuriated the other group and they confronted each other. Soon arguments started building up and in matter of minutes they started fighting each other.
The police have registered a case against both sects and begun investigation on the same.
