Two Hizbul militants caught in Baramulla

Srinagar, September 1: The J&K Police today claimed that they have arrested two militants from Pattan town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A police official said that both the militants were active in North Kashmir from past few years and were affiliated with militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen.

The militants have been identified as Parvez Ahmed Mir, son of Ali Muhammad and Showkat Ahmed Ganaie, son of Muhammad Ramzan both residents of Andargam Pattan.

The police official also said that they have recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from the militants and both are being questioned at the moment.

-One AK56
-One 40mm Russian grenade launcher
-Four AK Magazines
-Two Kenwood R/S Chinese
-Four 40mm grenade UBGL
-7.62mm SLR amn – 120
-7.62mm AK amn – 441
-Two Pouches
