Two ISI agents caught in Rajouri; Pak to deny like always

Rajouri, April 27: Two ISI agents in Rajouri district soon after they crossed the Line of Control were busted by the Indian Army after they entered Indian territory on Sunday.

Alert personnel of the Nowshera Brigade busted the two ISI agents who crossed the Line of Control in the Lam-Jhangar area.

The agents later were identified as 30-year-old S Hassan and 18-year-old H Ali, residents of Sazarkot in the Khuiratta tehsil of Kotli district in PoK.

An official source said that both the accused are hardcore agents of the ISI and possible were involved in inflitration.

And they were detected with the help of advanced surveillance equipment. he added.

During the interrogation, both the agents admitted links and said they had visited the area in the past as well.

Sources added that both agents were testing Indian defence deployment in the area and looking for a possible weak point to push terrorists into the state.

Lt Col Manish Mehta, PRO Defence, later said that the busted ISI agents who had trespassed from Nowshera sector and were handed over to the police for further action.

Rajouri SSP Rajeshwar Singh confirmed saying Army has not shared any information regarding the arrest nor delivered them the Agents, so they are unlikely to share any information at this stage.
