Accident-Logo-LMIJAMMU: Two people were killed and six injured when a passenger taxi they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Two passengers were killed and six others injured when a taxi on way from Rajouri to Nerojal plunged into a gorge last evening near Tarpai Bridge in Thannamandi area when the driver lost the control,” police spokesman here today said.

He said the driver jumped out of the vehicle and escaped while two people identified a sQari Manzoor, 35, son of Abdul Ghani and Talib Hussain, son of Nasar Din, residents of Sain Samad died in the mishap.
