Srinagar, October 15: The recent pictures stumbled upon by Jammu and Kashmir Police have shown a new and unconventional face of militancy. These were the pictures of two young militants wearing trendy clothes, sunglasses, branded shoes.
The militants have been identified as Wasim Malla (27) and Zakir Ahmad Bhat (25). The pictures were the selfies taken in the posh colonies of Kashmir Province and were taken while the both were on their survey in the valley. Both belonged to two well-to-do families, Malla, son of an orchard owner is a second year student of Bachelor of Arts degree while Zakir Bhat, son of a senior government engineer is having a degree in Bachelor of Technology , are from south Kashmir’s Shopian and Tral.
These militants sport no flowing beard but are “ideologically wedded”.
It is suspected, that both belong to the group of 35 youngsters who have joined militancy in the recent past with the help of 22 years old Burhan Wani.
