Two persons of Budgam booked under PSA shifted to Kot Bhalwal

Srinagar, June 11: Two persons were shifted to Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu after remaining in the Police custody for 11 consecutive days. Both of them were booked under Public Safety Act (PSA).

According to sources, the Police arrested the duo namely Saqib Bhat and Bilal Ahmed Bhat, residents of Budgam after they made a failed attempt to set ablaze a shrine on the intervening night of May 29 and May 30. The Police arrested them on May 31 and registered a case in this regard under section 436, 427, 295 RPC.

 

After the District Magistrate booked them under PSA, both of them were shifted to Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.
