Two Vaishno Devi pilgrims die of heart attack

Two VaishnoDevi pilgrims have been reported dead in separate incidents in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, told police. The two have been identified as Siladevi Singh from Kolkata, who was on her way to pay obeisance at Vasihnodevi shrin in Katra when she had a cardiac arrest at the Bhawan and Arun Surekha, a pilgrim from Bangalore who died of massive heart attack while on his way to Bhawan for Darshan last evening.

Siladevi Singh was initially rushed to a dispensary at Bhawan and was later shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Katra, where she was declared her dead. The body was handed over to her family members after performing legal formalities.

Surekha was declared brough dead when he was shifted to a dispensary at Bhawan.
