Two women killed, five civilians injured in BSF firing along LoC: Pakistan army


Two women were killed and five people injured in Border Security Force (BSF) firing along the Line of Control in Chaprar sector of Sialkot, reported Pakistani media.

Quoting an army statement, Dawn News reported that the BSF continued their “unprovoked” ceasefire “violations” and “targeted civilian population along the LoC in Chaprar, Sialkot sector overnight”

As a result of the firing, the report said that two women were killed and five civilians, including three women, were injured.

A BSF soldier and a civilian were killed in Arnia and R S Pura sectors of Jammu, said an Indian official.

He said that Pakistani troops resorted to “unprovoked” firing along the International Border in Jammu last night.
