Uniform Force assists entrepreneurship training
Udhampur : With an endeavor to promote self employment through entrepreneurship, the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Bagga under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi is assisting a course for the unemployed youth of the region in collaboration with `Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute’ (JKEDI) at Government Higher Secondary School, Mahore.
57 youth including two girls are attending the course under `Project Himayat’ as part of Skills Employment and Employability (SEE) scheme of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
The project under the aegis of Op Sadbhavana aims to provide opportunity for the unemployed youth of the area to start their own enterprise and also would provide impetus to the tenacious economy of the region. The local population appreciated the gesture by Army and civil administration for working in close co-ordination to empower the youth of the region.
