Unknown men barge into PDP leader’s house, decamp with 4-assault rifles

Srinagar, Sept 19: In a shocking incident which took place in South Kashmir on Sunday evening , terrorists barged into the house of People Democratic Party’s leader Advocate Javaid Ahmad Shiekh, who is also the district President, held security guards hostages and fled with 4 assault rifles.

As per police, before barging into the house the terrorists fired several times in the air in order to create panic and then took security guards hostages.

An FIR has been registered in the incident and investigations have been started by the police.

This is not the first rifle snatching incident that has taken place in Kashmir. 9 days ago, terrorists barged into the house of National Conference leader Abdul Rashid Khanday in South Kashmir and fled with 4 rifles. Before that, terrorists barged into the house of Rajya Sabha MP Nazir Laway’s house in Kulgam and ran away with four rifles.
