Valley girl, second Indian student to be awarded fulltime scholarship for two years

A higher secondary student from Srinagar has been selected for the prestigious Kurt Hahn scholarship. She is the second student of India to be awarded the full time scholarship for two years.
Bushra Nabi, a 15 year old student of Delhi Public School has secured the scholarship after going through various competitions. The school administrators said that she is the recipient of Kurt Hahn scholarship provided by the Phuket International Academy, Thailand. “We are proud to announce her selection to Thailand on a full scholarship for Class XI and XII,” they added.
With this, she became the first girl from valley to get the scholarship and second from the country. Bushra went through rigorous selection process and performed from a pool of competitive applicants to make it to the list of selected candidates. Being one of the two students who have been selected from India for this scholarship, she has brough home fame and pride.
She has a deep interest in International Relations and has already spent one academic year in US where she was sent as an exchange student under KL-YES Scholarship in 2013. She aspires to make a career in administration. Bushra thanked her school administration and said that it is all because of the efforts of the school that helps students develop the spirit of excellence.
