While Omar Abdullah is pacing up to provide maximum to the victims of the flood-wrecked state,various state ministers are also reaching out to the victims to take all necessary measures to bring back the state on track. A team of ministers including Minister for Higher Education Akbar Ahmad Lone, Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for Forests Altaf Ahmed and Minister of State for revenue Ajaz Ahmad Khan visited Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora districts to evaluate the current situation. The Ministers were told that the administration is regulating the relief camps issuing routined advisories to the people, distribution of free ration for six months has been sought by the ministers. Gulam Ahmed Mir during his visit to various flood-hit areas met ward officers and the staff. Officers were directed to visit areas and submit the losses for provision of compensation and other services to the displaced people.
