Jammu/Srinagar, April 10: Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Asia’s longest tunnel in Jammu Kashmir that links Jammu and Kashmir and reduces the distance by 31 Kms. This longest tunnel ‘Chenani Nashri Tunnel’, is one of the engineering marvels which can be used in all weather conditions.
The tunnel is 9Km long with most advanced technological aspects like security, pollution control, emergency response and anti terror attack features. PM Modi along with governor N N Vohra and JK CM Mehbooba Mufti took a ride in an open jeep after inauguration which gained media attention of the world. PM Modi took personal interest
While India is appreciating the Chenani Nashri Tunnel, Pakistan has been cribbing about the tunnel since the day it was inaugurated. The main issue that is worrying Pakistan is that they are unable to put pressure on India. The terror country which is constantly trying to build a narrative that Kashmir is a disputed territory, got a major blow with the inauguration of the tunnel which clearly indicated that Kashmir is an integral part of India and we have full rights on it.
PM Modi also sent a strong message to Pakistan during his speech in JK to stop their terror activity in the area. He gave a final warning to the people who were indirectly supporting terrorists and creating violence in the valley to shed guns and join the main stream. Now, the Pakistan media is expressing displeasure and looking desperate to make their mark on Kashmir.
