Doda : Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub Inspector Rahul Dogra was caught red handed by the State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) while accepting Rs.20000 bribe from a local Tanvir Ahmed. The sub inspector who was posted as Incharge, police post Khellani, Doda was arrested by the vigilance team after repeated complaints against him.
According to the sources, Rahul Dogra, a resident of Jammu city was posted earlier at police stations of Gandhi Nagar, Domana and Bhaderwah.
SSP, Vigilance, Doda, MY Kitchloo informed that a case under FIR number 12/2014 under section 5(2) of J&K Penal Code Act, Avt. 2006 read with 161 RPC has been registered in the police station Vigilange Organisation Jammu.
Presently, Dogra is on remand and is in the custody of Pacca Danga, Police Station, Jammu for further questioning.
