After almost a week later of announcing that the company will hike the prices of its plans, Vodafone Idea on Sunday finally revealed the revised plan prices and said that the new plans will be applicable from 12 am, 3 December. The move aims to help Vodafone cope with the financial stress caused majorly due to the Supreme Court’s final ruling on AGR. The company has been asked to pay Rs 50,921 crore to the government.
Apart from Vodafone, Airtel and Jio have also announced the hike in tariffs. While the revised plans from Vodafone Idea and Airtel will be available from December 3, 2019, Jio’s new plans will be applicable from December 6, 2019.
“In line with its commitment to provide customers with simple, convenient and affordable products, VIL has curated an optimum range of feature rich plans for both voice and data. Customers can avail their benefits by just selecting the plan best suited to their specific needs and continue to enjoy seamless connectivity across India,” Vodafone Idea said in a press statement.
The new recharge plans can be bought from MyVodafone App, MyIdea App, the company’s website, leading e-wallets like PayTM, Google Pay, PhonePe, Amazon Pay, etc or at your nearest recharge outlet or Vodafone Idea store.
