Jammu: A woman admitted to the Medical College Hospital (GMC) Jammu fell from the sixth floor of the hospital and died. He was admitted to the GMC a day before swallowing poison. The woman is said to have gone to the bathroom of Ward 15 and jumped down by opening the window. At that time the husband also came with the woman. But that could not stop him. According to police, the woman’s mental condition was not well. He was also undergoing treatment at a psychiatric hospital. The deceased has been identified as Bachno Devi resident Jyodian (Palanwala, originally resident of Sunderbani). The police have registered a case and started investigation. The dead body was handed over to the family in the evening after the post mortem.
According to police, on Thursday, the woman swallowed poison at home. He was then admitted to the GMC by his family members. He was placed on Bed 16 of Ward 15. On Friday afternoon, the woman walked out of the ward and went to the bathroom. Meanwhile, he leaped down from the bathroom window. The woman fell down on her head, was immediately taken to the number seven emergency room, where doctors declared her dead. GMC police chowki officer Ravinder Singh says that the matter is being investigated on all aspects of suicide, accident or someone pushed. He said that after talking to family members, it was told that the woman was not mentally well. According to GMC Superintendent Dr. Dara Singh, Bachno Devi was mentally ill and admitted to the GMC a day before eating poisonous substances at home. Police is currently investigating the case. It is said that her husband was also with her when she went to the bathroom.
