Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir could be held in October-November along with three other states where polls are due by that time.

3. 24×7 Free Ambulance Service in J&K soon-People can dial 102-108 to avail the service.
Administrative Council (SAC) which met under the chairmanship of Governor, Satya Pal Malik approved operationalization of the 102-108 Toll Free Ambulance Service in the state.

4. Army jawan martyred in ceasefire Violation by Pakistan in Rajouri.
Army jawan was martyred as Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector in district Rajouri.

5. Newborn baby found on the side of road.
A newborn girl was found on the side of the road in village Ghazi. he is completely healthy. The police has sent the girl under the supervision of doctors of the SMGS hospital in Jammu.
