Wave Group has entered into the Jammu market by opening its first mall with a multiplex and an array of shopping outlets and food chains. The mall got inaugurated today by the Chairman Wave Group, Rajinder Singh Chadha and other officials of wave group also attended the inauguration ceremony. Mall remained open for the special invitees and media from across the state for the first day. However, the same will be made open to the general public of Jammu from tomorrow (May 1, 2014) onwards.
Speaking on the occasion of the mall launch, Rajiv Gupta, CEO of Wave Malls and Multiplexes said, “The mall here in Jammu will be an epitome of the modern metro and a focal point for business, employment, and entertainment- all under one roof. It will create abundant opportunities for individuals and reshape Jammu’s lifestyle trends. The four-level Wave Mall located at Narwal bye pass, sprawls over an operational retail area of 200,000 square feet. The mall has presently opened its multiplex with 3 screens that accommodates 1043 seats.
Once fully operational after a month of its inauguration, the mall will provide shoppers a wide gamut of luxury brand choices in apparels, fashion, lifestyle, home furnishings, cinemas and cafes. A dedicated food court, with a seating capacity of 200, will offer a variety of local, national and international cuisines and delicacies.
The mall also offers ample parking space across three levels that accommodate 500 cars and 200 two-wheeler.
