We should forget Paksh, Vipaksh and work as one: PM Modi on Parliament’s Budget Session

New Delhi:PM Narendra Modi on Monday urged the Opposition not to worry about its numbers in the Lower House of the Parliament, stating its role and robust presence is extremely important in a parliamentary democracy.

He said that we should forget about paksh and vipaksh and work as one team for the development of the country.

Reaching out to the Opposition, Modi said, “role of an Opposition and an active Opposition is important in a Parliamentary democracy. The Opposition need not bother about their numbers. I hope they speak actively and participate in house proceedings”.

Pinning his hopes on the smooth functioning of Parliament during the Budget session, Modi said, both the sides should work as one keeping their political differences aside for the larger interest of the nation.
