When these men can say Hindustan Zindabad, why can’t Kashmiris?
By Citizen Journalist Askhay Singh Rajput
A video has gone viral on social media showing motorcycle-borne men chanting ‘Hindustan Zindabad’ and ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ slogans. The men look as if they belong to a minority group in India and the video claims to be from Hyderabad, as suggests its title.
The men condemn ISIS by shouting ‘ISIS Murdabad’ slogan while they look to be waving the Indian National Flag with pride.
My question is, if there is a minority group in India which openly supports India, why dont the members of the same minority in Kashmir do?
Kashmiris often take to social media debates to quote the case of Junagadh and Hyderabad’s occupation by India at the time of partition but if one were to look at either of the two places, there is no animosity against India. Owasi, for instance, may have uttered vitriolic content against PM Modi, but never do the members of Minority in these places, speak on secession.
