Srinagar: Winter vacations of the Schools in Kashmir have been extended till March 7, official sources said on Saturday.
They said that due to bad weather conditions in Kashmir Valley, Director School Education Showkat Ahmad Beigh while announcing it said that weather conditions are not favourable in Kashmir.
However, sources said the spread of H1N1 is also a reason in extending the winter vacation.
