Woman stabs a teenager over water issue; Intestines damaged

POONCH, May 9: The police has arrested a middle aged woman for stabbing a youth in Chhatral area of  Mendhar.
SDPO Mendhar, Shahid Nahim told a local daily that 18 year old boy Ayaz Ahmed, son of Mohd Zafar, hailing from Chhatral had  passed 12th class recently.

Over the issue of water pipes, passing through the land of other family, both the sides had clash last evening.

The woman was allegedly breaking the PHE water supply pipe  and Mohd Zafar’s family objected to it.

During the clash the boy was allegedly stabbed by Parveen Akhtar, wife of Mohd Arif with a sharp edged weapon.  She was arrested by police today. The other three members of the family were still at large.

Mr Shahid said that intestines of the boy had been exposed with the deep stab wound   and he was operated upon at Mendhar hospital last night.

His condition was said to be serious. A case FIR No. 57/2016, under Sections 307, 323,341 and 34 RPC has been registered against the accused persons.
