Woman’s jewelry goes missing on the Delhi-Jammu Flight

Jammu, July 21 : A woman travelling on the flight coming from Delhi to Jammu was looted on the way. Unidentified men walked off with the gold jewels from her bag. It was only after she came out of the Jammu Airport, that she realized about the robbery.

The woman, Sakiya Mehreen, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmed, resident of the Residency Road in Jammu, reached the Police Station Satwari and filed a case. As per her report, while travelling by the private airline from New Delhi to Jammu, she was carrying gold weighing around 70 gms. Once she got off the plane and collected her luggage, she found out about the missing jewelry. The police searched all her remaining bags in order to be sure, but there was no sign of the missing jewelry.
According to SHO Satwari, Manjeet Singh, the woman is clueless about the whereabouts of her jewelry. It has yet not come to surface the actual location where she lost her jewelry, and so the Police has asked the Anti-Hijacking Police to lead the investigation.
