Women pilgrim killed, 2 injured in road accident in J&K

A woman yatri was killed and two others injured when their vehicle met with an accident in south Kashmir on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Wednesday.

Official sources said that the vehicle carrying Amarnath pilgrims from Srinagar to Jammu, collided with a School bus at Padgampora area of Awantipora.

Three pilgrims were injured in the incident and immediately rushed to the hospital by locals where a woman identified as Savita Devi, wife of Surinder Chowdry from Jaipur died.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard.
