Various organisations in Jammu and Kashmir have planned events in the state on June 21 on the occasion of International Yoga Day. In converstaion with U4Uvoice Deputy Commissioner Jammu Simrandeep Singh said, “Yoga should be made part of daily routine”.
Considering the large size of unhealthy people in our country, U4Uvoice asked him if Yoga can actually benefit the people, he added, “Yoga’s the only way a country of our size can live healthily and happy.”
The main function in Jammu will be held at Mini Stadium, Parade, where member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma will be the chief guest, in Kashmir will be held at Raj Bagh, near Zero Bridge Park, during which Union MoS Krishan Lal Gujjar will be the chief guest.
Over 20 small and big yoga organisations are involved in the celebration of International Yoga Day.
