Bengaluru March 22: Three people were arrested by the Bengaluru police for operating a brothel in a high-end saloon. The trio were running the high-end saloon in the upmarket locality of Ulsoor. The saloon was being run under the name of Trendy Traditional Unisex Saloon and Spa by three men – Prasanna, Moorthy and Abhijit Pal Chaudhury and they had been supplying girls to select clientele.
The City Crime Branch of the Bengaluru police raided the saloon after credible leads on Saturday and arrested the three people. Three mobile phone, Rs 3,000 cash and cars from the accused were also siezed. The police also found condom packets and contraceptives in the saloon.
While talking to media persons, the police said that the trio had forced three girls from Karnataka and one from Kerala into prostitution. The girls had been lured with attractive pay packages and have been rescued now. The girls have been sent to a foster care home for now and a case has been registered under different sections of the IPC.
