Youth from Anantnag all set to serve Indian Army
It’s not correct to say or assume that every Kashmiri hates India and Indian army. Hate is a strong word and there are lots of people in Kashmir who not only like army but also join it.
Meet Zubair Ahmad Itoo,an engineering graduate from sensitive Anantnag district of South Kashmir. Zubair has cracked the prestigious Services Selection Board (SSB) examination, securing fourth position to join as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army.
But prior to joining the army as a Lieutenant, he will have to go through 49-week long officer training at Officers Training Academy in Chennai.
The selection of Zubair into the Indian Army has come at a time when Kashmir is witnessing civil unrest in the wake of killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani on 8 July.
Zubair is an example for all those people who hate and spread false propaganda against the Indian Army. In addition, he has also given a befitting reply to the politicians who leave no stone unturned to dishonour the army in order to get political mileage.
