Youth’s killing at Abdullah’s residence: Jammu Court issue directives to district SSP
In the wake of an application demanding registration of an FIR in the killing of Syed Murfad Hussian Shah at former Chief Minister Farooq Abdulllah’s residence, Sub-Registrar Jammu Swati Gupta Sub-Registrar Jammu Swati Gupta after hearing Adv Veenu Gupta for the applicant, directed SSP Jammu to take action as permissible under law.
The application filed by deceased’s father Imzad Hussain Shah.
In the application seeking registration of FIR, it has been submitted that on 04-08-2018, the Son of the applicant namely Syed Murfad Hussian Shah had gone to Bathindi in his vehicle bearing no. JK02BW 0568 but the applicant only got the News regarding the death/encounter of his son in a firing incident at Farooq Abdullah’s (MP) residence in Bathindi, Jammu.
It is has been further submitted that the encounter story spun by the CRPF personnel is not only illogical but also unbelievable.
Despite the repeated request and the application to the SHO Trikuta Nagar, a copy of which was also sent to DGP, Law and Order, J&K Police and also to SSP Jammu, till date no FIR has been lodged by the aforesaid police officer to investigate the matter.
