Zakir’s Threatening Message: Hizb distances itself from Zakir’s statement
Srinagar: Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Saturday distanced itself from the remarks made by its militant commander Zakir Rashid alias Zakir Moosa about Hurriyat leadership and said that it doesn’t subscribe to the views of Zakir and these are his personal remarks.
Pertinently, Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Zakir Moosa Friday warned Hurriyat leaders “their heads will be chopped off and hung in the Lal Chowk for interfering in the militant group’s struggle for Islam”.
Hizbul Mujhadeen spokesperson, Salim Hashmi in a statement said that Hizb is evaluating his (Zakir Moosa’s) statement and the outfit will not shy away from taking any extreme step in the interest of freedom struggle.
“Whole nation is united after the martyrdom of Burhan Wani and has been running this freedom struggle and at this point of time, such provocative statement will only help anti-freedom forces and it will give a death blow to the struggle,” the spokesperson said and appealed freedom loving people particularly youth to counter the negative anti-movement propaganda of some media houses.
