During his visit, the ADC took stock of the face lifting of the main venue, seating arrangements, power supply, drinking water facility, installation of PAS, barricading of venue, sanitation measures and other necessary arrangements. The ADC directed the concerned agency for adequate deployment to ensure foolproof security arrangements at the venue and the surrounding areas. The ADC was also briefed about the identified parking spots for the national function. BJP leader Waseem Bari, family members killed by terrorists in Bandipora


SRINAGAR: In a dastardly act, terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Waseem Bari and his family members in Bandipora area in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

Three members of the family, including Bari, his brother and father died in the terrorist attack.

The trio was inside a shop owned by the family when terrorist opened indiscriminate fire.

The shop is just along the police station. Andrabi was earlier district president of the BJP and now he was associated as a member of the party’s state committee.
