Lawrence Public School, Sidhra takes up U4UVoice Broom Challenge and nominates 3 other schools
On Gandhi Jayanti, PM launched Swachh Bharat Mission, a historic mass movement integrating a billion Indians to create a Clean India. Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, U4U Voice is pleased to launch the ‘THE BROOM CHALLENGE’.
U4U invite you all to come and clean Jammu and Kashmir with the ‘dil se’ factor. We complain about the dirt, the absence of enough dust bins, choked drains, poor state of most public toilets, spitting and urinating in the open as well as the general lack of commitment of the people to keep the state clean. Let’s change this scenario. If the PM can so can we. We can do it.
Here’s what you do if you accept ‘THE BROOM CHALLENGE’
STEP 1. Pick a location you want to clean up, in terms of revamp & pick up the broom to clean it in terms of clearing the filth and also beautifying it in some way. (may be put a dustbin, paint a stained wall etc.)
STEP 2. Do share the reason, why you took the challenge and how you feel after completing the challenge.
STEP 3. Share the (before) & ‘My Clean location’ (after) images/videos at info.u4uvoice@gmail.com
STEP 4. Nominate 3 more people for the challenge by forwarding the link to make them understand the broom challenge motive.
That ways we can inspire people to make our state a cleaner state. Citizens coming forward in this initiative will be featured on our site and on our social network too like on facebook, twitter etc. We will also be sending the best entries to PMO and you might win yourself a mystery gift for this noble cause.
