Chandra Shekhar Azad remembered


chandrashekhar-azadJammu: The birth anniversary of freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad was celebrated at G.S. Accounts Institute , lower Moti Bazaar, Parade wherein the Institute teachers along with students paid floral tributes to the valiant son of the soil.

They participants garlanded the statue of the great freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad wherein the entire Institute reverberated with slogans of patriotism.

Highlighting the life of Chandra Shekhar, Girish Sharma said “the life of Azad is an inspiration to every citizen of the country. There should be justice in the society. Azad was one of the most famous Indian freedom fighter against British Rule. He was born on July 23, 1906 and died on February 27 , 1931 at Allahabad.

Earlier the programme started with recitation of verses of the Ramayana Path and bajan by Programme Coordinator Ravinder Kumar presented formal welcome address and threw light on the importance of the day.
