The process of meeting the corona virus infected patients is going on in the state. Four new positive cases were reported in Srinagar and two in Rajori on Friday. Jammu and Kashmir government spokesman Rohit Kansal told that two of the patients found positive in Kashmir have travel history abroad while two were traveling with religious congregation outside Jammu and Kashmir. With this the figure has reached 20 in the state.
One of the two positives found in Rajori was an elderly maulvi who died of corona in Srinagar, while the other was in contact with a retired Ayurvedic doctor found positive on Thursday. So far 13 people have been positive in Ladakh. Curfew was imposed on Friday after a retired Ayurvedic doctor was found positive in Manjakot, Rajori, a day earlier. At present 29 people, including five relatives, who came in contact with this doctor, have been quarantined.
The patient who died on Thursday from Haidarpora, Srinagar from Corona, is relieved to have negative samples of two Sopore doctors coming in contact with him. Applications have been sought from MBBS doctors through NHM to ensure that there is no shortage of doctors to deal with the corona virus. Recruitment related information is given on NHM website.
