COVID-19 Wave: At Least 12 IAS Officers Infected: One Judge Dies In UP

Lucknow, April 14: On a day when Yogi Adityanath isolated himself after three members of his team tested Covid positive, at least 12 IAS officers in the state also reportedly contracted infection.

Among those affected are Additional chief secretary, chairman, Board of Revenue, Deepak Trivedi, Additional chief secretary (agriculture) Devesh Chaturvedi, additional chief secretary (urban development) Rajneesh Dubey, additional chief secretary (labour) Suresh Chandra, Additional chief secretary (higher education) Aradhana Shukla and her husband, retired IAS officer Pradeep Shukla adding that Secretary (finance) Sanjay Kumar was also tested positive.

Among those who have succumbed to COVID in the past 24 hours, is Additional District Judge in Moradabad, Satya Prakash Dwivedi, who died on Tuesday.
