VIDEO: Jammu-Srinagar highway reopens, only stranded vehicles allowed to move


RAMBAN: The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was reopened for traffic today after two days of closure due to landslides in Ramban district, leaving over 3000 vehicles stranded.

The authorities have allowed only the stranded vehicles to move on the highway as the road was cleared by men and machinery deployed for the work

“The men and machines of BRO worked round-the-clock and cleared the blockade on the 300-km-long highway,” he said.

He added that no vehicle is allowed to travel from Srinagar to Jammu.
