J&K Government formation by Feb end: BJP

Jammu, February 15: With the general secretary of Bhartiya Janta Party, Ram Madhav expected to meet Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar today, it is speculated that some decision is likely to be taken regarding government formation in the state.

Media reports suggest a clear picture on government formation which is likely to emerge by the next weekend.

The reports have also claimed that the union government has agreed to fulfill some of the demands put forth by PDP to form government in the state. The Union government will likely transfer one out of three power projects to the state and also to provide more financial aid for the development of the state.

The sources said that Mehbooba is also likely to meet BJP president Amit Shah after meeting with Ram Madhav in Delhi where she will finalise modalities for the formation of the new government
