IN PICS: Emotional Kangna Ranaut pays tributes to BSF martyrs in Jammu


Jammu, Feb 8: Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for her next release RANGOON along with Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Every actor has their own way of promotions , some go for train rides, some visit colleges.

However the QUEEN actress Kangana Ranaut has a very different way of promoting films.

Kangana visited the armed forces in Jammu and encouraged the soldiers in their quest to protect the country.

She was seen having a gala time with people there and also interacted with them. Apart from promoting the film, the actress also had a small getaway from the rush city life.

The film ‘Rangoon’  is slated to release on February 24th, 2017.

It is pertinent to note here that actors Akshay Kumar and Nana Patekar, also visited BSF headquarters last year to pay tributes to BSF martyrs.

Bollywood actress along with TV Anchor Rashid Hashmi visited BSF Headquarters at Paloura, here and paid tribute to martyrs at martyrs’ memorial, who made supreme sacrifice during ceasefire fire violation by Pakistan all along International Border.

Bollywood actress also met with troops and their families.

While addressing the gathering, emotional Kangna Ranaut remembered the supreme sacrifice made by bordermen and their proud families.

“I am fortunate that I got an opportunity to come and meet BSF jawans”, she added.

Kangana Ranaut also met with BSF School children and attended programmes at BWWA auditorium and BSF Stadium Paloura Camp.

It is to mention here that three national awards winner actress, who is known for advocating for women empowerment and raised voiced against gender discrimination, is also known for her concerns for jawans deployed at borders.
