Jammu, February 01: If news reports are to be believed, the Station Head Officer (SHO) who has been  attached with a police station in Udhampur district even after his transfer to Reasi district, has ultimately been ‘relieved’.

The reports says that the man remained as SHO of the police station under whose jurisdiction falls a famous tourist resort for the longest time by being in the good books of his senior officers.

This police officer has developed personal relations with his senior officers by booking rooms for them whenever they visited the tourist resort. He was even transferred to Reasi district some time back but he managed to stay in his earlier posting. The senior officers came to his rescue and made sure that he was not relieved.

Finally, the cop has been transferred to Jammu-Kathua-Samba range. However, there were reports that he had tried his best to get his ‘relieving’ and ‘transfer’ order cancelled.
