NIA in Action: Shopian Among 16 Places Raided in Kashmir


In Jammu and Kashmir, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided 16 places in the Valley in connection with terror-related activities. The raid was carried out against terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) and their allies Al Badr, The Resistance Front (TRF), People Against Fascist Forces (PAFF). , Mujahideen Gajwatul Hind (MGH) etc., to unearth the conspiracy to carry out various terrorist activities. According to sources, a new case was registered on October 10, following which raids were conducted by the NIA.

Earlier on Sunday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) also raided 16 places in Jammu and Kashmir. NIA operations went on in Kulgam, Baramulla, Srinagar, Anantnag. According to the information, this action has been taken in cases related to Voice of Hind magazine. Officers also raided the house of TRF (The Resistance Front) Commander Sajjad Gul. The action was taken at 16 places in Jammu and Kashmir connected with the publication of ‘Voice of Hind’ magazine (which aims to incite and radicalize youth) and recovery of IEDs. Ejaz Ahmed Tak son Ghulam Mohammad Tak, Mudasir Ahmed Ahangar son Ghulam Mohiuddin Ahangar, Nasir Manzoor Mir son Manzoor Ahmed Mir and Junaid Hussain Khan son Mohammad Hussain Khan were taken to Achabal police station, and they were interrogated.
