It was an uphill task for Sunita to persuade the parents’ of these children. She along with the volunteers went door to door and requested them to send their children to her school.

Sunita has personally helped some really bright students to study further. “When they turn 7 or 8 we admit them in a government school. I have also helped some students to do computer courses,” she says.

The main objective of Sunita’s life is to educate these children and help them to stand on their feet. “When my children can go to school why can’t these children? All children are equally gifted by nature. There is neither a greater joy nor a reward bigger than to make a fundamental difference in someone’s life,” she further adds.

One person can make a difference, and everyone can try. Do what you can, with what you have, wherever you are. The time is always right to do what is right. No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.
