Rohit Sharma ruled out of remaining New Zealand tour

Indian opener Rohit Sharma, who was India’s stand-in captain for the 5th and final T20I against New Zealand, has been ruled out of the remaining New Zealand tour as a result of an injury he suffered during the match. Rohit couldn’t complete his innings after he suffered a calf injury. It has been reported that Rohit would no more be a part of the tour.

Batting on 60 off 41 balls, Rohit had just scored a six over deep midwicket before he hobbled off the field after injuring his left calf. While there has been no official confirmation yet, in case if Rohit is ruled out, Mayank Agarwal might be roped in as a replacement for the Mumbai batsman.
