Three missing Kashmiri men return after 3 years from PoK, arrested$largeimg203_Apr_2016_234755417.jpg

Three persons who had gone missing in Kupwara in 2015 have been arrested by Army near Line of Control (LoC) while returning home from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The trio had crossed the LoC in November 2015 and were apprehended in Keran sector of frontier Kupwara district while returning home.

They were apprehended by Army’s 3 JAK LI (Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry) soon after they crossed the border near Balbir Post yesterday. The are Ali Mohammad Sheikh son of Abdul Aziz of Trehgam, Ghulam Jeelani Khatana of Dardpora Kralpora and Mir Hussain Khatana son of Muhammad Ismail of Dardpora, Kralpora.

Ali Mohammad is a former militant, who had crossed the LoC for the first time in 1990 and returned in 1991 and then crossed in 1996 and returned in 1997. He later surrendered before the Army.
